How to locate grants

Search Techniques for Grants

Start with one broad keyword. Only add more terms or limiters if needed. Watch what happens when you add a second keyword into the search box: do you get more results, or fewer?

Be ready to scan through all the announcements. If you find something close, look at the agency, assistance type, beneficiary eligibility, etc. to find terms that might be of use.

Think about which government agency might best match your subject area.
