Study Room Updates Academic Year 2024-25

 

The Upper Mezzanine (the upper west corner of the library) has six desktop computers and study lounges and corner sofas that can be used for small group study.

The Lower Mezzanine (the lower west corner of the library) is currently being used by Peer Consulting, but students are allowed to use this area in the evening hours or when a consultation is not occurring.

Group Study Spaces 1-3: These three study spaces are located at the northeast corner of the library near the emergency exit. The three spaces have wireless monitors for presentations, group study sessions or meetings. Group Study Space 1 is reservable by contacting the library Help Desk.

 

Library Study Rooms

The Oregon Tech Libraries have several study rooms for individual and group use at the Klamath Falls and Portland-Metro campuses.

The following information is for Klamath Falls study rooms:

LRC 211, LRC 212, and LRC 214 are group study rooms that are available for student use. LRC 211 has a large monitor/screen to plug your devices into for practicing presentations or going over notes as a group.

LRC 211, LRC 212, and LRC 214 can be reserved prior to use by students online through our LibCal reservation site, or by visiting or calling the Help Desk. The rooms require keys for entry, which must be checked out from the Help Desk at the time of your scheduled booking.
