Public Access Services Guide: Study Rooms

Study Room Updates Academic Year 2023-24

LRC 113 is currently being used by Advising and Retention during the Boivin Hall Renovation. The three individual study rooms on the south facing side of LRC 113 are available first come, first serve unless they are being used by Advising.

The Upper Mezzanine (the upper west corner of the library) has six desktop computers and study lounges and corner sofas that can be used for small group study.

The Lower Mezzanine (the lower west corner of the library) is currently being used by Peer Consulting, but students are allowed to use this area in the evening hours or when a consultation is not occurring.

Group Study Spaces 1-3: These three study spaces are located at the north corner of the library near the ITS entrance and emergency exit. The three spaces have wireless monitors for presentations, group study sessions or meetings. Group Study Space 1 is reservable by contacting the library Help Desk.

 

Library Study Rooms

The Oregon Tech Libraries have several study rooms for individual and group use at the Klamath Falls and Portland-Metro Campuses.

The following information is for Klamath Falls study rooms

  • Klamath Falls Campus:
    • LRC 211 are both group study rooms that are available for student use. The rooms both require keys for entry which can be checked out from the Help Desk the same day as they are needed.
    • LRC 211 can be reserved prior to use by students either online through the library's catalog or by visiting or calling the Help Desk. The "Booking study rooms," directions and the video below will walk you through how to book your room reservation for your group.
    • LRC 211 has an electronic projector screen to plug your devices into for practicing presentations or going over notes as a group.
