MFT 510: Introduction to Marriage and Family Therapy (Garrett)

How to Get Full Text of an Article

Some library databases are Index resources, which means they provide only descriptions of the articles they carry. To get your chosen articles in full text, follow these steps.

  1. Below the article entry in the results list, click on the    button to see if Oregon Tech library has the electronic version of this article. The button will get you to the article’s catalog record.
  2. If you see a green line “Full text available”, follow the links in the record. They will lead you to another library database or an open-source website such as Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) which has this article full text.
  3. If, on the other hand, you see the line “Check for availability”, it means we do not have this article anywhere at the library in full text. The article record will give you the links to request this article electronically from another library. We will get this article for you at no cost, often in 2-3 days.
