Citing Your Sources

Reference List

All three systems of the CSE style feature the Reference List at the end of the paper. Depending on a specific system, the arrangement of the entries on the List varies, but the purpose of the List is the same: to provide all the information your reader needs to track down your sources.  

Keep in mind that every work on your Works Cited list at the end of your paper must have a corresponding in-text citation. Otherwise, your reader has no way of knowing how you used your sources.
